ความหมายสุภาษิต

ความหมาย
ได้แก่คำพูดที่พูดออกมา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นทำนองสำนวนโวหาร หรือคำพังเพย แต่มีเนื้อความหรือความหมายที่ดี เป็นคำตักเตือนสั่งสอน และสะกิดใจให้ระลึกถึงอยู่เสมอ มีอยู่ 2 ประเภท คือ
1. คำสุภาษิตประเภทที่ พูด อ่าน หรือเข้าใจเนื้อความได้ทันที โดยไม่ต้องแปลความหมาย ตีความหมายเช่น ทำดีได้ดี ทำชั่วได้ชั่ว
2. คำสุภาษิตประเภทที่ พูด อ่าน หรือฟังแล้วยังไม่เข้าใจเนื้อความนั้นในทันที ต้องนึกตรึกตรอง ต้องแปลความ ตีความหมายเสียก่อนจึงจะทราบเนื้อแท้ของคำเหล่านั้น เช่น ผีบ้านไม่ดีผีป่าก็พลอย
สำนวน
ความหมาย ได้แก่คำที่พูดหรือกล่าวออกมาทำนองเป็นโวหาร เป็นคำพังเพยเปรียบเทียบ จึงฟังแล้วมักจะ ไม่ได้ความหมายของตัวมันเอง ต้องนำไปประกอบกับบุคคล กับเรื่อง หรือเหตุการณ์จึงจะได้ความหมายเป็น คติ เตือนใจเช่นเดียวกับคำที่เป็นสุภาษิต
คำพังเพย
หมายถึง ถ้อยคำที่เรียบเรียงขึ้นมาเป็นความหมายกลาง ๆ คือ ไม่เน้นการสั่งสอน แต่ก็แฝงคติเตือนใจหรือ ข้อคิดสะกิดใจให้นำไปปฏิบัติได้ และ เนื้อหาของใจความนั้นก็ไม่จำเป็นว่าจะต้องเป็นความดี หรือ ความจริงแท้ แน่นอน
คำคม
หมายถึง ถ้อยคำที่คิดขึ้นมาในปัจจุบันทันด่วน เป็นถ้อยคำที่หลักแหลม ซึ่งสามารถเข้ากับเหตุการณ์นั้น ได้อย่างเหมาะเจาะ ทั้งยังชวนให้คิด ถ้าพูดติดปากกันต่อไปก็จะกลายเป็นสำนวนไปได้
